My name is Jordan. I am a 33-year-old husband and father of two boys, and I have been involved in the sport of wrestling since the age of three. Wrestling has shaped nearly every part of my life — from competition to collecting, studying, and appreciating the evolution of wrestling as a sport over decades.
Alongside wrestling, art has always been a constant. Throughout school, I pursued every art class available, developing a strong foundation in design, color, and craftsmanship. In early 2025, I recognized an opportunity to merge these two lifelong passions. Confident in my skill set and vision, I began combining my background in wrestling shoe collecting with hand-painted custom work — giving rise to J's Custom Wrestling Shoes.
This work exists because wrestling deserves it. Wrestlers sacrifice daily — through discipline, preparation, blood, sweat, and setbacks — yet their gear is often treated as an afterthought.
I believe athletes should be able to express who they are without saying a word. Every pair I create is built for wrestlers who value detail and craftsmanship.
My goal is simple: to provide wrestlers with something truly unique — something earned, personal, and worthy of the effort they put into their craft.

Every pair is carefully prepared, painted, and sealed for maximum durability. However, wrestling is a high-contact sport, and constant friction can naturally cause wear over time. Minor scuffing or chipping should be expected with regular use, just as with any performance gear. The goal is always to provide the highest level of craftsmanship to help your customs look their best for as long as possible.
How long should I wait before wearing my custom shoes?
We recommend waiting 48–72 hours before intense use. This allows the protective finish to fully cure and ensures maximum durability.
Can I wash my custom wrestling shoes?
No. Do not machine wash or submerge them in water. Clean only with a soft bristle shoe brush and a microfiber cloth. Lightly spot clean when necessary.
How do I properly clean them?
